Silvia Núñez Gutiérrez
Silvia is a Montessori Teacher who has been guiding children, teachers, and parents through the Montessori Philosophy for more than 15 years.
​
By being a teacher, school administrator, and Head of School of several multicultural Montessori Institutions in Mexico and Canada, Silvia has widened her understanding of the development of young minds, acknowledging the importance of establishing loving and caring relationships to help children thrive.

In addition to her Montessori Training for Infants, Toddlers, and Casa, Silvia holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education, a B.A. in Industrial Design, a M. in ED. in Educational Leadership, a M. A. in Second Language Learning from McGill University, and is an active member of the Positive Discipline Association at the Trainer Candidate level.

Dr. Abigail Alkon Meadows
Abigail is an accomplished psychologist and psychotherapist with extensive experience in clinical psychology, childhood trauma, and creative therapeutic techniques.
She has directed psychology departments, supervised therapists, and developed innovative psychoemotional programs in diverse settings, including shelters, schools, and rehabilitation centers. Her expertise includes family violence, addiction recovery, intellectual and physical diversity, and psychotraumatology. She is also an educator, offering workshops for parents, teachers, and mental health professionals on topics like childhood psychopathology, sexuality education, and inclusive practices.
Passionate about human rights and evidence-based care, she combines her knowledge to empower individuals and communities. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a BA in Medical Surgery, furthering her mission to promote healing and holistic well-being.

Gloria Sierra
Montessori Guide to the Children’s House. Trained in Italy, Mexico, and the United States. With 50 years of experience working with children and adults. Pioneer in the training of Assistants, trainer and Synodal. She was Preschool Director of Colegio Mereci and Colegio Ciudad de México. She currently teaches the Montessori Philosophy at Pan American Montessori at the Children’s House level, as well as coordinating student practices.

Julieta Rivera Rio Madero
She was born in Mexico City and concerned about the social differences in the country, she studied family therapy and a Montessori Children’s House and Workshop Guide (between 1974 and 1978) at the Pan American Montessori Society, initially working in a private Montessori school to later found the Palo Solo Children’s House, I.A. P., Private Assistance Institution that since 1979 has been dedicated to providing Montessori Education to children with limited economic resources (receiving the National Monte de Piedad award for the best private assistance institutions in Mexico in 2014).
From 1998 to 2007 she dedicated herself to training Montessori Workshop Guides at the Center for Continuing Education in Mexico City. She has taught courses at the University of Pamplona, Spain, and currently at the Autonomous University of Baja California, in Mexico. Since 2000, she has taught courses in different Montessori areas in countries such as Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Spain and Russia. For 10 years she has been Coordinator of the Training course for Montessori Guides at the Canela Institute of Montessori Studies, in Madrid. During 2020 she obtained International Recognition for his Professional Career within the framework of the II International Montessori Congress of Spain.

Julie Noriega Rivera Rio
From 2002 to 2004 she studied for Montessori Workshop Guide (children ages 6 to 12), taking courses in Chile and Mexico, and in 2015 in the United States (International Montessori Association). In 2002 she opened a Montessori school in Ensenada, Baja California (Centro Educativo Tipai) serving as Workshop Guide and director to date.

Javiera Cuadrado
Javiera was born in Santiago, Chile, where she trained as a Montessori guide in the year 2000. She went to Mexico as a Co-Founder of Tipai School alongside Julie Noriega.
She has 25 years of experience in the Montessori environment. She holds a degree in education and am pursuing a master’s in learning, child development, and cognition. She has taught courses to train guides in Calama, Chile; Guadalajara, Mexico; and Ensenada, Baja California. She is currently pursuing the Casa de Niños environment.

Medical geneticist since 2003, with special interest in clinical dysmorphology, connective tissue diseases and porphyrias. Certified and recertified by the Mexican Council of Genetics A.C, number 193. Member of various national and international associations. He is currently an active member of the CEI at the ABC Medical Center. Santa Fe Mexico City.

Sharon Suitt
Ms. Sharon began her teaching career in Buffalo, New York. After relocating, she worked in the Atlanta Public Schools as a teacher, media specialist, curriculum specialist, and Elementary School principal. As a mother of 3 daughters, she realized the importance of providing a strong foundation in the early years and enrolled her children in Southwest Montessori. Experiencing the Montessori philosophy as a parent, she developed a great appreciation for the independence, problem solving skills and academic rigor provided in the Montessori program.
Later in life, her children encouraged her to start a Montessori school that her grandchildren could attend. In preparation for opening the school, Ms. Sharon enrolled at Kennesaw University, where she studied under Dr. Feland Meadows in the Primary Years Program. Additionally, she received her Infant-Toddler Credential from the Montessori Training Institute (MTEI) in Atlanta.
After retiring from Atlanta Public Schools, in 2009, Ms. Sharon along with her colleague, Elizabeth Bland, started CHI Montessori in her College Park home. This is CHI’s fourteenth year in existence.

Mr. Walter woks at Terra School at Serenbe. Mr. Walter has been in education since 1986. He studied Montessori Philosophy and Curriculum with the Pan-American Montessori Society (PAMS) under Dr. Feland Meadows at Kennesaw State University. He received his Montessori Coach certification from the National Center for Montessori for the Public Sector. Mr. Walter also has diplomas from Cambridge and The University of Michigan in foreign language.
Mr. Walter’s role as Academic Director is to observe and follow each Primary child’s development in order to create individualized lesson plans that foster independence and support the child’s academic, social, and emotional development.

Danielle Suitt
Ms. Danielle is the Academic Director for the Infant-Toddler program here at CHI Montessori. Currently she is the lead teacher in the Nido classroom. In Fall of 2019, she received the American Montessori Society Infant-Toddler Credential from the Montessori Teacher Education Institute of Atlanta (MTEI). Her introduction to Montessori began 19 years ago when she sent her two oldest daughters to a Montessori school, where she spent a lot of time volunteering. She loved the freedom of choice and independence that the Montessori method gave them. The self-confidence they developed in those early years is still evident today. She has witnessed the benefits of a Montessori foundation first-hand and that the reason she is so passionate about Montessori education and has made it her life’s work. This is her sixth year teaching at CHI.
